Scott Baker, CFA

Mr. Baker is the Founder and President of SD Baker & Associates Inc. and Co-Manager of the BluMont North American Opportunities Fund.

Mr. Baker has extensive experience in managing US and Canadian investment portfolios for high net worth investors and pension funds, including 10 years as an analyst and portfolio manager with Connor Clark of Toronto and Connor Clark & Lunn of Vancouver and five years as a portfolio manager with Nigel Stephens Counsel of Toronto. Mr. Baker is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business. Mr. Baker is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and the American Institute of Management and Research.  He received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991 and is a registered portfolio manager in the province of Ontario.

Andrew Cumming, PhD

Mr. Cumming leads the Advisory Board of SD Baker & Associates Inc. and is a Co-Manager of the BluMont North American Opportunities Fund.

Dr. Cumming earned his Ph.D. in Physics from M.I.T. and completed his postdoctoral work at Bell Labs in New Jersey.  He was awarded a Presidential Young Investigator Award by President Bush Sr. after which he was a faculty member in Physics at the University of Florida. He returned to his native Canada to run trading businesses in equity derivatives at Citibank, Deutsche Bank and most recently Scotiabank, where he was Managing Director and Head of the Equity Related Products group from 1998 to 2002.
